The capitalized words used in this Privacy Policy as definitions are defined here or in our General Terms.
By visiting our Websites, submitting your personal data to us, and by accessing, installing and/or using our Services, you confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by it. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services and Websites.
Product-specific Privacy Notices. As IgnitionVPN products may differ in functionality, they can process different types of personal data. Additional notices may be provided, for example, for IgnitionVPN desktop and mobile apps, or other services we may launch in the future.

1. PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Summary: As per our strict no-logs policy, we never track your online activity. However, some personal data (like your email and payment details) is required to provide Services. You may also voluntarily share data with us in other contexts (cookies, support requests, giveaways, etc.). We always store only the minimum amount of data necessary.
IgnitionVPN processes personal data in a limited scope to:
  • Provide Services;

  • Process payments;

  • Enable the functioning of our Websites and apps.

We may process the following categories of personal data:
  • Account Information: email address for account creation, login, password recovery, and using Services.

  • Subscription Information: chosen plan, term, ID, frequency, status, enabled/disabled features (e.g., MFA).

  • Payment Information: billing info, transaction dates, partial card details (when necessary for recurring payments), and fraud-prevention data.

  • Communication Data: support inquiries, emails, chatbot/live chat interactions, phone calls (if available in your region, only with consent).

  • Website/App Data: access logs (IP, browser type, OS), service usage statistics, cookies and similar technologies.

  • Referral & Promotions Data: contact info for referral programs or participation in giveaways/contests.

  • Social Network Data: when interacting with our official social profiles (e.g., name, comments, profile data you provide).

2. GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Summary: We process your personal data mainly to provide you with our Services and comply with law. Sometimes we rely on legitimate interests (like preventing abuse) or your consent (like receiving newsletters).

  • Advertising Partners: for contextual or generic ads (not linked to your browsing activity).

  • IgnitionVPN Group Companies: for business operations and service provision.

  • Legal Protection: to defend rights, prevent fraud, or comply with official legal requests.

  • Business Transfers: in mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations.

  • Cross-border Transfers: your data may be processed in countries outside your residence. We ensure adequate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

4. CHOICES RELATED TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Summary: You control your data. You can access, delete, or modify it at any time.
Depending on applicable laws, you may have the right to:
  • Delete: request account deletion and data erasure.

  • Access: request a copy of your personal data.

  • Rectify: update or correct inaccuracies.

  • Object: stop processing for legitimate interest (e.g., marketing).

  • Portability: receive your data in machine-readable format.

  • Restrict: limit processing in certain cases.

  • Withdraw Consent: revoke previously given consent.

5. DATA SECURITY

Summary: We take strong measures to protect your data against unauthorized access or misuse.
  • Physical Measures: secured offices, access controls, surveillance, locked storage.

  • Technical Measures: encryption (data at rest & in transit), firewalls, anti-malware, intrusion detection, hardened servers, centralized endpoint management.

  • Organizational Measures: strict access policies, external audits, employee training, ongoing risk monitoring.

 However, no system is 100% secure. While IgnitionVPN applies industry-standard protections, data transmitted via the internet is always at some risk.

6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Summary: We only keep your personal data as long as needed to provide Services or comply with law. Once no longer necessary, it is securely deleted.
  • Billing & Payment Data: retained up to 10 years from the last transaction (for tax/accounting compliance).

  • Marketing Emails: your email may be used for marketing up to 1 year after subscription ends, unless you opt out earlier.

  • Support Call Recordings: retained up to 2 years (if applicable and only with your consent).

  • Other Data: deleted or anonymized when no longer necessary.

When retention is no longer legally required, IgnitionVPN will securely dispose of or anonymize your personal data so it can no longer identify you.

7. COUNTRY-SPECIFIC PROVISIONS

Summary: Depending on your country, you may have additional rights.
  • European Economic Area (EEA): Rights under the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact us at privacy@ignitionvpn.com.

  • California (USA): Rights under the CCPA, including right to know, delete, opt-out, and non-discrimination. IgnitionVPN does not sell your personal information.

  • Republic of Korea: For users in Korea, data may be shared with partners outside the country. A full list of such partners is available in the Korean-specific Privacy Policy (upon request).

9. CHILDREN’S DATA

IgnitionVPN does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age.
  • If you are under 18, do not send any personal data.

  • If we become aware of data collected from a minor, it will be deleted immediately.

  • Parents/guardians may contact us at privacy@ignitionvpn.com to request deletion of children’s data.

10. OTHER TERMS

  • Limitation of Liability: While IgnitionVPN applies strict security, you remain responsible for safe use of our Services. We are not liable for unlawful or negligent actions outside our control.

  • Links to Other Websites: Our Websites may contain links to third-party sites with different privacy practices. We are not responsible for their policies. Please review their privacy terms.

  • Prevailing Language: This Privacy Policy is written in English. In case of conflict with translations, the English version prevails.

  • Updates: IgnitionVPN may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified (e.g., by email, app notification, or website notice). The “Last Updated” date indicates the current version. Continued use of Services after updates means acceptance of the revised Policy.
